About Clive
I am a highly experienced technical professional with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed in mathematics. My career as a Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analyst has honed my ability to break down complex data and present it in a clear, accessible way, which translates perfectly to tutoring students in maths.
With O-level, A-level, and university-level papers in Mathematics, alongside a degree in Applied Economics and extensive experience in data analysis, I bring a deep understanding of mathematical principles.

With a solid academic background in Mathematics (O-level, A-level, and university-level experience up to Stage 2), as well as studies in Statistics and Economics, I bring strong expertise to my tutoring sessions. I’ve also taught at a sixth-form college and delivered training in business software, which has helped me develop the ability to explain complex concepts with patience and clarity.
I take a student-centred approach, tailoring my lessons to the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Each session begins with a brief review of previous topics, followed by working through new concepts and applying them to practice problems.
I also leave time at the end of each session for questions and addressing any difficulties the student may have faced during their independent study.
I have O-level and A-level Maths, as well as University-level Maths, Statistics, and Economics (Stages 1, 2 and 3). I have previously taught at a sixth-form college and delivered corporate training in business software.
My lessons are for GSCE, AS-level and A-level students looking to improve their grades or build a solid foundation in maths.
