About Ira
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Economics. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from school to university level, helping them understand both theoretical and applied economics. My interest in economics began with curiosity about how societies manage resources and make financial decisions. Teaching allows me to share this understanding and help students develop economic awareness.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, real-world application, and structured learning. I believe students understand economics best when concepts are linked to real-life examples and current events. I simplify complex theories into easy explanations so learners can build confidence gradually. This approach helps students develop strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying global markets, reading economic research, and analyzing financial trends. These interests help me bring up-to-date knowledge into my lessons. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence in economics is very rewarding. My goal is to help learners understand how the world economy functions and how they can interpret it effectively.

My economics lessons are designed to help students understand how real-world financial systems, markets, and decision-making processes work. I focus on topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, demand and supply, inflation, national income, and market structures. Lessons are structured in a simple and clear way so students can connect economic theory with real-life situations. I use everyday examples, case studies, and logical reasoning to make concepts easy to understand.
Each student is taught according to their academic level and learning goals. Beginners focus on basic concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and demand-supply fundamentals. Intermediate learners explore market behavior, government policies, and economic indicators. Advanced learners work on deeper topics such as fiscal policy, monetary systems, and economic modeling. Every lesson includes explanations, practice questions, and guided discussions to strengthen understanding and analytical thinking.
My goal is to help students think like economists by developing logical reasoning and analytical decision-making skills. As learners progress, they begin to understand how economic systems affect daily life and global markets. Economics becomes a practical tool for understanding the world. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and consistent learning throughout the journey.
