About Zara
I hold a B.A in Economics and an M.Sc in Development Economics, with 13 years of experience teaching economics to students from diverse academic backgrounds. My academic journey provided deep exposure to both theoretical frameworks and applied economic analysis, allowing me to explain concepts with clarity and relevance to modern economic challenges. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, discussion, and supportive guidance. I encourage students to question assumptions, explore multiple perspectives, and build confidence in presenting their reasoning. Economics becomes engaging when students understand how theories explain real-world behavior, markets, and policy decisions. My lessons focus on helping learners connect abstract economic models with everyday examples such as consumer choices, business decisions, and government actions. Through structured explanations and practical illustrations, I guide students to understand how economic concepts influence societies and individual lives.
Students begin with foundational topics such as demand and supply, elasticity, market structures, and basic macroeconomic indicators. As understanding deepens, lessons expand into national income, inflation, fiscal and monetary policy, international trade, and development economics. I emphasize diagram interpretation, logical explanation, case analysis, and structured answers to help students express ideas clearly and confidently.
Economics lessons also develop critical thinking, evaluation skills, and informed judgment. Over time, students become more confident discussing economic issues and analyzing real-world problems logically.
