About Gianna
My interest in economics developed from a desire to understand how societies allocate resources and respond to change. This led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics and later an M.Sc. in International Economics, where I explored global markets, development issues, and economic policy analysis. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students navigate complex economic ideas through clear explanation and structured guidance.
I believe effective economics teaching requires patience and relevance. I adapt my teaching style to each learner’s pace, ensuring concepts are understood deeply rather than memorized. I emphasize reasoning and discussion, helping students articulate economic ideas clearly and confidently.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with global economic trends, research publications, and policy discussions. Teaching economics is rewarding because I help students build analytical skills that support both academic success and real-world understanding, empowering them to think critically about economic issues that affect everyday life.

Economics becomes meaningful when students understand how everyday decisions connect to larger economic systems. My lessons focus on building clear understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles such as supply and demand, market structures, national income, inflation, and global trade. I explain concepts using relatable examples, graphical analysis, and structured reasoning so learners can see how theory applies to real-world situations rather than remaining abstract.
Lessons are designed around student ability and academic goals. Beginners focus on core terminology, basic models, and simple cause-and-effect relationships. Intermediate learners analyze graphs, data trends, and real-world case studies. Advanced learners work on policy evaluation, structured economic writing, and exam-oriented analysis. Each lesson encourages questioning and discussion to deepen understanding and confidence.
Economics lessons also develop critical thinking and informed judgment. Students learn to evaluate information objectively, consider multiple perspectives, and understand economic consequences. My goal is to help learners view economics as a practical tool for understanding society and making informed decisions, not just an academic requirement.
