About Oliver
I am a student who has had great academic success. In my GCSEs, I obtained 3A*s and 7 A grades and in my A levels I achieved 2A*s and an A grade. I am currently studying Economics and Politics at the University of Birmingham. Having achieved an unconditional offer, I have also helped several people get into Russell Group Universities and have helped them in writing a personal statement. I am a strong believer in the idea that tutoring can take someone who is on course to a fail up to an A* grade. Fundamentally, tutoring has the ability to help struggling children in addition to those who have always flourished academically. As I am someone who has benefitted from tutoring in the past, I want to use my experience and academic expertise to set the highest standards to really help people flourish.

Education is now a results based business and I will ensure that the people I tutor obtain the highest possible results. Everything in education is on a topic by topic basis. Therefore, the aim of each session will be to teach topics so that it is fully understood in such a way that the person being tutored could do a test in that topic the following day and achieve a top mark. I will teach in an engaging fashion, that encourages debate, especially in Politics as I believe that this is the best way to encourage intellectual stimulation. I also have access to state of the art notes in every Politics and Economics related subject.
