About Tahlia
Originally from Australia, I lived in Hong Kong and Singapore up until the age of 12, I was then sent to French boarding school near Bordeaux. I have lived in the Bordeaux region for the past 7 years, however, I moved to London to attend University.

Native English speaker, fluent French speaker. Living and studying in France, I completed the French Baccalaureate in 2022 with an overall score of 84%, grade of "tres bien", the highest mention. Scored 100% in French (oral) and 75% (written). I now attend a French university campus in London that is partnered with UCL where I study French at level 6 (the highest level) and achieved a grade of first class honours in my first year.
Friendly, professional and determined, I am motivated to share my passion for the French language, and understand the importance of providing tailored / personalised lessons depending on each student's needs.
I have previously tutored French language for French and international students aged 12-1,6 where I was delighted to help my students to massively improve their French language abilities, and importantly too their grades, ranging from 20-35% improvement for medium term assignments.
In addition, I also tutored adults interested in practising their French.
I encourage working on at least one of the following during lessons:
● Speaking skills (conversation, pronunciation)
● Writing skills (grammar points, conjugation)
● Listening skills.
