About Ross
As a recently retired teacher and leader in a well-performed Hawkes Bay College, I am still keen to be able to support those looking to help themselves. I have always loved teaching and coaching whether in the class or on the sportsfield. As a result of my roles in scools, I have a comprehensive understanding of NCEA, how it works, tricks for success and can help with this where required as well.

Things are easier to learn when real-world examples are used as a starting point. Learn the basics really well and the rest follows on. NCEA requires some rote learned answers as well as a genuine understanding of the key concepts and ideas that apply in economics. I have tutored lots of students and have found that 1-1 40-60 minute discussions with the student doing the writing as we talk often work best. I regularly use diagrams to help get the big picture.
