About Maisie
Hi, I'm Maisie, a recent graduate from the University of Exeter.
I studied Ecology at university, although I took as many Geography modules as I could! During my degree, I also spent a year studying abroad in Amsterdam, where I focused on Earth Sciences and Sustainability.
I'm patient, approachable, and enjoy helping students build their confidence alongside their knowledge. I also love learning myself, so I encourage questions and enjoy exploring topics that spark a student's curiosity.

My teaching methodology includes:
- Explaining concepts and theory that students haven't yet fully understood from school lessons.
- Working through practice questions together, with tailored revision techniques and tips for achieving higher marks.
- Exploring topics within Geography that genuinely interest the student to maximise engagement - Geography is an incredibly broad and diverse subject with something to interest everyone!
Sessions are available in either 30-minute or 1-hour formats.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs and learning style, but will typically include one or two focused 20-minute guided learning blocks, alongside discussion and review.
My lessons are designed for GCSE Geography students who want to improve their understanding, build confidence, and achieve a higher grade in their exams.
