About Michaela
Kia ora koutou,
My name is Michaela and I am in my fourth year of a conjoint Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canterbury.
I am an exceptional writer and want to share my skills to advance you in your chosen study. I specialise in essay writing and can teach you to write sexy essays (not literally, unless that's what you need).
I'm easy-going, great at communicating, and can work with people of all skill levels. I know a lot of people don't enjoy essay writing, but I want to make the experience as painless as possible. We will have fun together and you will leave with strong skills in essay writing.
I don't have formal experience teaching, however I have given tutorials for many friends to advance their skills and strengthen their essays. My greatest skill is writing and I have the communication skills to share this with others.

One-on-one, easy-going lessons designed to teach people who need to up-skill in English - particularly essay writing.
Need to present a piece of writing from school or university to assess current skill level for first lesson.
Focus for lessons will range from essay content, planning, structure, grammar and punctuation, analysing and responding to texts, referencing, working from essay criteria provided by school/uni, and any other needs the student has.
Length of lessons and frequency by negotiation, depending on your needs and attention span.
Honestly, I have no formal experience teaching but I've help strengthen friends' skills. I write a mean essay and have great communication skills, especially with people who aren't super excited to write essays.
