About Maisha
Although my career and higher education has been in marketing, I've always been an artist through and through. Since I could hold a crayon, I've had my work published and receive recognition throughout my life. My dreams, my music, and the beauty and melancholy of life, inspire my work. I've taught students in Bangladesh and in the UK, where I got my master's. There's something about art that positively impacts your mental well-being and it brings me joy to be able to contribute to that. Art has been my friend in helping me survive life and I hope I'll be able to do the same for you. The world always needs more artists!

About the lesson

My approach is simple, starting from the basics to strengthen your foundations in art, moving on to more complex techniques over time for perspective, composition, and color. But the process will vary depending on what works best for the student. Hourly lessons recommended, days can be discussed. The lessons are for anyone really, but I encourage adults looking to bring back their creativity and peace of mind. I've been an artist all my life with formal education in Art up to CIE O levels, and have had exhibitions in Bangladesh.
