About Sarah
I am a mum of 2 young children and a teacher is a local primary school. I am moving towards online tutoring so I can spend more time with my children. Lock down showed me how good online learning can be when it is done well.
I love helping children learn and develop. It’s amazing to see children grasp and develop their understanding.

I am a qualified teacher and have been for 8 years. Before that I was a preschool leader. I have a huge wealth of experience with teaching children to read from early stages of development. It is imperative that all children learn to read in order for them to reach their full potential and to be able to access other learning. I cannot wait to support you and help your child develop their reading skills.
My lessons are 45 minutes long. They will include learning sounds with flashcards, pictures, reading words, writing words - that relate to sounds and reading texts that include sounds we have learnt. Lessons are for young children at the beginning of their reading journey, children who find reading and spelling challenging, children who are learning to speak, read and write English as an additional language.
