About Monica
I have been teaching young children, that do not speak English for 15years now. Once they are taught the foundational skills needed as an emergent reader, their language, writing, spelling and reading skills explode. They have a great amount of confidence and their love of learning has been ignited, they will be very successful in their academic future.

There are only 26 letters in the English alphabet, but there are 44 sounds and 72 combinations of letters. On top of that there are explicit rules that apply to make a particular or letter combination of letters, make a specific sound. Learning the sounds and rules will unlock the ability to read, write and spell exceptionally.
