About Tora
I am a graduate of Fordham University and have worked as an actor and teacher in NYC for 10 years. I most recently worked at West Side Montessori school where I taught classrooms with children ages 3-5. I also entered the Teacher Education Program there to further my knowledge of the amazing Montessori Materials. Other than teaching, I am an actor and musician. I love to bring music and theater to my teaching but am also open to music and acting coaching as well. I look forward to talking to you!

As an Early Childhood tutor your child and I would work on literacy, writing, early math skills, spatial reasoning, visual discernment, small motor skills and more. I create a fun environment and use play based techniques to have my students practice these important skills to help them succeed. I would tailor my lessons to what your child needs help with. My specialty is working with children between 5-7 years old and creating a fun, warm environment to encourage their love of learning. My lessons would be especially good for a child starting kindergarten admissions to competitive schools.
