About Maria
I have worked with young children (0-10) for the past 11 years, both in and out of the classroom. I have worked one-on-one with children as a nanny, as well as teaching small and whole group lessons in a classroom. I love watching students have a “lightbulb” moment where everything just clicks.

I believe young children learn best through play based learning, where they are having fun and they are interested in what they are being taught. My lessons will teach children the basics of literacy, including letters, letter sounds, blending, spelling, and more! I will teach through a fun approach where kids can truly be kids! My lessons are best suited for children ages 4-7.
