I have a Master's Degree in special education from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. I have taught special education for 10 years in Michigan and 9 years in Texas. I am a certified teacher in Texas and a dyslexia interventionist.

In 20 years, I have never met a student whom I couldn't teach to read. I utilize interventions that use both phonics and whole language, so students learn decoding and comprehension strategies. My approach is engaging and multi-sensory--perfect for students with ADHD and autism.
