About Maisy
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 8 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from school children to college students and working professionals. I believe that learning piano is a journey that combines technical skill, musical understanding, and personal expression.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalized guidance. I create lessons that strengthen fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading while gradually introducing advanced techniques.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide a complete musical foundation. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and often include song practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities.
I specialize in simplifying complex concepts, helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and maintain disciplined practice habits. My ultimate goal is to create a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can enjoy learning piano and achieve their full potential.

Creativity is a cornerstone of my approach. I encourage students to explore improvisation, experiment with melodies, and even compose their own music. This allows them to develop a personal musical voice while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. Flexibility ensures that lessons are adapted to the student’s pace and abilities, whether they are beginners learning basic notes or advanced players tackling complex compositions.
In addition to piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic approach strengthens students’ technical proficiency while developing their artistic and expressive skills. My goal is to provide an inspiring learning environment where students grow as confident, skilled, and creative musicians.
