About Ivy
I am a highly dedicated Guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar with proper guidance and structure. Over the years, I have helped many learners move from basic level to confident performers.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals and regular practice. I believe that once students understand chords, rhythm, and finger techniques clearly, they can easily progress to advanced levels. I guide students step by step and make sure they feel confident at every stage.
Many of my students have performed in annual functions, college fests, and public programmes. Some have even started performing in bands and music groups. Their growth and achievements inspire me to continue teaching with passion.
I maintain a friendly and focused learning environment. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, enjoyable, and meaningful while building confidence and discipline in every student.

My Guitar teaching methodology is designed to help students grow with confidence, discipline, and creativity. I strongly believe that learning Guitar is not only about playing notes but also about understanding music deeply. I follow Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity in every lesson.
I begin by building a strong technical foundation through posture correction, tuning practice, finger exercises, chord clarity, and rhythm accuracy. These basics help students play comfortably and avoid mistakes. Motivation keeps students focused and consistent in their daily practice.
I encourage them to set clear goals and appreciate every small improvement. Communication is always simple and practical, ensuring students clearly understand chord structures, strumming patterns, and scale movements. Integrity means I teach honestly, focusing on proper techniques and structured progress.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, songwriting basics, and exploring various genres. I also teach music theory, ear training, and performance skills to provide complete musical development.
