About Julien
With 8 years of teaching and professional experience, I have developed a deep commitment to helping students grow through piano education. I teach school and college students, guiding them carefully from beginner lessons to confident stage performances.
Music has always been my passion, and sharing that passion with young learners gives me true satisfaction. I believe piano learning builds not only musical skill but also patience, focus, and self-discipline.
Over the years, I have proudly prepared students for school competitions, annual day events, and small recitals where they performed with confidence and pride. I focus strongly on building a solid foundation in posture, finger technique, rhythm, and music reading.
My teaching style is structured but flexible, adjusting to each student’s pace and learning style. I maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment so students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. My goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music in every learner.

My piano teaching philosophy focuses on building confident, disciplined, and expressive musicians. I begin by understanding each student’s current skill level, goals, and interests, then create personalised lesson plans that include technical exercises, chord and scale practice, rhythm training, and song performance.
Motivation is central to my approach; I encourage students to set achievable milestones, practise consistently, and celebrate their progress. Communication is simple, patient, and interactive, helping students understand finger placement, note reading, dynamics, tempo, phrasing, and expressive interpretation. Integrity ensures lessons are structured, punctual, and honest in assessing progress.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, composing short melodies, and experimenting with musical styles. Along with piano, I also teach sight reading, ear training, music theory, and keyboard fundamentals.
