About Faith
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with over 4 years of experience, specialising in blues guitar and expressive playing. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance, which shapes my creative and practical teaching style. My lessons are always tailored to suit each student’s goals and level. I teach students from Beginner to Advanced with a clear and supportive approach.
I specialise in slide guitar, open tunings, and fingerpicking blues techniques. These styles help students develop both control and musical feel. I guide students step by step so they can play with confidence. Technique and expression grow together.
I also teach different regional blues styles such as Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont. Each style has its own rhythm, tone, and character. I help students understand these differences while building their own sound. This keeps lessons both structured and inspiring.
My teaching style is encouraging and motivating. I create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable to learn. I give clear feedback and support steady progress. Let’s explore your musical voice through the rich heritage of the blues.

My teaching approach focuses on helping guitar students become confident and fluent music readers. I use a structured and step-by-step method. Students learn both standard notation and tablature from the beginning. I make sure they understand how each system works and when to use it.
We start with reading notes on the staff and connecting them to the fretboard. I guide students through simple sight-reading exercises. Rhythm notation is introduced early and practised often. This builds strong timing and accuracy.
As students improve, we explore more complex rhythms and patterns. I help them recognise common musical shapes and phrases. Sight-reading becomes a regular and comfortable skill. This builds independence and confidence.
I support students who enjoy detail and precision in their playing. I also guide those who want to explore different musical styles through reading. I give clear feedback in every lesson. Let’s unlock the world of written music together.
