About Casey
I am a passionate guitar tutor with 8 years of teaching experience. I work with students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds, helping them learn guitar in a simple and enjoyable way.
I believe every student has their own learning style, so I tailor lessons to individual goals and pace. I focus on technique, music theory, improvisation, and creative expression. Students can explore classical, acoustic, electric, or modern music depending on their interests.
I have taught over 200 students, many of whom have performed in competitions, concerts, and recitals. Some students have pursued music professionally, while others have developed a rewarding hobby. My lessons combine structured exercises, interactive teaching, and practical examples to make learning effective.
I also teach rhythm, sight-reading, and composition, helping students become confident and well-rounded musicians. My approach is patient, motivating, and supportive.

I follow a teaching methodology centred on Compassion, Communication, and Supportiveness, focusing on creating lessons that are engaging, personalised, and effective. I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style, pace, and goals, making the experience enjoyable and productive.
Communication is key: I explain techniques clearly, demonstrate thoroughly, and encourage students to ask questions and share ideas. Being supportive, I provide guidance, constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones, helping students overcome challenges with confidence.
Lessons include exercises, song practice, and creative projects, while also covering music theory, rhythm, and composition. This approach develops technical skills, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
