About Miles

I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Biology. My academic journey has deeply shaped my passion for biotechnology and its impact on society. I specialise in biotechnology ethics and the societal implications of genetic engineering.

I teach advanced topics such as CRISPR technology, gene therapy, and modern reproductive technologies. Beyond the science, I focus strongly on the ethical dilemmas that come with these innovations. Students learn not only how these technologies work, but also why they matter.

My teaching style combines structured explanations with detailed case studies drawn from real-world scientific developments. I encourage philosophical discussions that challenge students to think critically about responsibility, regulation, and long-term consequences. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Biology is focused on deep understanding, not memorisation. I use structured lessons combined with detailed analytical review to help students think clearly and logically. Complex topics become simple through step-by-step explanation.

I specialise in neuroscience, including brain structure and function, sensory systems, neural signalling, and neurological disorders. We also explore cellular biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and biochemistry to build strong foundations. Every concept connects back to how the nervous system works in real life.

I design structured case studies that train students to analyse clinical and real-world scenarios. This method is especially powerful for Pre-Med students and Olympiad participants who aim for high academic performance.
