About Shainon

The most important thing a tutor can do is to understand the student and understand the way their way of thinking and accommodate to their needs. This allows the tutor to communicate with the student to a new level and show them a different insight into the education, allowing them to develop and grow as not only a person but as a student. Another important thing is to take criticism and feedback from students and teach them the content to a deeper level of understanding.

About the lesson

I am disciplined and able to teach others to allow them to understand the content to a different level and motivated to help a student in whichever way is needed and at any cost to raise their score. My approach is to focus on the importance of content rather than teaching from a textbook like other teachers and showcases the reasoning behind solving math equations. The importance of solving math problems is to be able to know the 'Why' and the 'how' behind the question and with my experience, I can deliver high-quality lessons that are more meaningful than traditional lessons. Everyone has a dream and I hope to turn students' dreams into reality!

Having achieved a 50 in Specialist and 45 in Methods, I have worked tremendously hard to go from a person who was average into a high achiever at my high school. With that experience, I aim to turn students into the best students they can be and achieve excellent results.
I am very positive and able to handle different people, accommodating their needs and wants. I am disciplined and able to teach others to allow them to understand the content to a different level. I am motivated to work and a problem solver who is able to adapt to different students' needs and aid them to my best capabilities.

I love helping others in their education because to me, education is the most important aspect of life and through tutoring, I am able to open the minds of people and show them a different perspective that allows them to reach their goals and aspirations!
