About Rosie
I'm a 22-year-old female living with my family in Woking, Surrey. I've spent time tutoring younger students at school, as well as my younger sister, and am looking to help a student over the summer who wants to improve their writing or exam skills.
Having graduated from Durham University with a 2.1 in History last summer, I'm currently a writer for a lifestyle magazine based in London.
I also studied English and Philosophy at A Level, and would be open to offering students guidance in these areas too.

My main focus is on how students should approach exam answers. I teach a method that can be applied to any question or topic, a way of thinking about history that markers respond to.
I also focus on sentence structure, paragraph structure and essay structure, as getting these things right is the easiest way to elevate exam or coursework marks drastically.
I like to get my students to highlight the areas of topics that most interest them. We work on these areas first and learn how to turn observations into developed insights and high-grade answers. Then we move on to the areas of the course the student finds more difficult, or boring, and try to carry this approach across.
