About Aslı
Hi! I’m a Psychology graduate from Durham University with an MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh. I also briefly studied Astrophysics in Turkey.
My academic background is quite interdisciplinary, and I’m particularly interested in understanding human behaviour from different perspectives from cognition and neuroscience to social and cultural influences.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, learning style and course requirements. I know that psychology can sometimes feel like an overwhelming collection of theories, studies and names to memorise. I prefer to approach it by understanding how and why things work, making connections between topics, and breaking complicated ideas down into something intuitive.
I can provide support across a broad range of psychology topics, including cognitive, social, developmental, biological and clinical psychology, as well as research methods and statistics. I can also help with essay planning and structure, critical evaluation of research, interpreting academic papers, and developing stronger academic arguments.
