About Tansy
Hi! I'm Tansy and I can't wait to work with you or your child. I am a 22-year-old Durham University Graduate and am currently training to be a teacher!
I love drama and acting so much, and one of my favourite parts of school when I was younger was LAMDA. I did LAMDA for a very long time and I have both Grade 8 LAMDA Speech and Drama and Grade 8 LAMDA Musical Theatre with Distinctions. I also gained A*s in Drama GCSE and A-level.
Whilst at University I was been a member of (and President 2022-23) of The Durham Revue sketch comedy troupe, a prestigious and award-winning group that performs annually in Durham, London and at the Edinburgh Fringe. Alumni include Nish Kumar, Jeremy Vine and Ambika Mod. I have built a strong team with excellent results (including an award for best sketch comedy at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe).

LAMDA lessons were the highlight of my week during my time at school and I would love to make that happen for you or your child.
I achieved Distinction in every single one of my LAMDA exams achieving Grade 8 in both Speech and Drama and Musical Theatre.
I currently work as a Teaching Assistant and am beginning my PGCE teacher training study in September where I will train as a Primary School Teacher. This means I am excellent at communicating with children and skilled in behaviour management as well as skills.
I can guarantee a high standard of teaching for an affordable price.
I am able to teach LAMDA individually or in pairs.
