About George
As a recent graduate who grew up speaking French in my youth, I understand exactly what's needed to build fluency and gain confidence in a language.
I grew up in a small village called Gourdon, in the Lot department close to Toulouse. After (regrettably) moving back, I constantly practised French with old friends and continued my learning from primary school right the way through to GCSE, A-Level and Extra modules during my Finance degree.
I'm a very friendly, funny and patient person who enjoys working with younger people, whether it's volunteering at the primary school or coasteering with DofE students in Abersoch.
I'm incredibly results driven and pride myself on actionable improvement, which I'm excited to apply to my tutoring.

Learning a language can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. As a bilingual graduate from Durham University, I offer a patient space for students to make mistakes and learn from them. My lessons focus on removing the fear of speaking. We will have relaxed conversations in French to build natural fluency, while steadily working through the necessary grammar in a way that isn't overwhelming.
I specialise in helping GCSE and A-Level students who find the classroom environment stressful. During our 60-minute sessions, I aim to boost your confidence and help you find your voice in French, while ensuring you hit the key requirements for your exams.
