About Finn
I am 23 years old and I have graduate from my master's degree in engineering from Durham University. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Durham and managed to graduate with a high 2:1 after 4 years. I am currently back at home taking some time before I pursue my career in consulting.
I consider myself a sportsman as a spent most of my free time either playing rugby or hockey. For my GCSEs and A-Levels, I studied at Dauntseys School in Wiltshire, where I still live. I achieved 9's and A*'s in all Maths and Science areas in both my GCSEs and A-levels. I developed skills such as communication and good articulation through my captaincy at university, which transfers very naturally to tutoring.

I will be tutoring GCSE and A-level students in Maths and Physics. Lessons will consist of working through past papers from the exam board and addressing any particular issues/difficult areas that might've been identified by teachers or myself. This could mean going through difficult homework etc. I will work on building from the methodology that teachers have taught their students previously and maybe look at using different methods to allow struggling students to understand from a new perspective.
I can adapt lesson lengths suitable for the student, but a standard lesson would be roughly an hour.
I have also been through much tutoring myself and I'm comfortable setting goals for a student to reach. I know how to layout sessions so that a student can feel confident with a particular area of their studies and go away with a strong background of knowledge.
