About Reyan

I'm Reyan, an 18-year-old Law student at Durham University, with a genuine passion for helping students unlock their potential. I achieved the highest grade in my cohort in English Language & Literature at IB Higher Level, and I teach English across all levels, from primary through to A-Level and IB HL, which means whether you're building core literacy skills or refining the kind of analytical writing that top universities expect, I can meet you exactly where you are. Having sat these exams recently myself, I remember the pressure, the confusion, and the moment things finally click — and that's exactly the experience I bring into every session. I'm patient, thorough, and I adapt completely to how you learn best, whether that means slowing down to rebuild foundations or pushing hard to sharpen the finer details that separate good answers from outstanding ones. Outside of tutoring, I'm involved in debate, public speaking, and leadership at university, which means I'm used to communicating complex ideas clearly and confidently — a skill I actively teach my students too. I take real pride in the progress my students make, and I'm committed to showing up prepared, engaged, and genuinely invested in your success every single session.

About the lesson

I'm Reyan, an 18-year-old Law student at Durham University — and if there's one thing studying law has taught me, it's that the difference between a good answer and a brilliant one comes down to precision, structure, and knowing exactly what you're trying to say. I achieved the highest grade in my cohort in English Language & Literature at IB Higher Level, and I bring that same obsessive attention to quality into every tutoring session I run. My lessons are one hour long, sharp, and completely tailored to you — no generic worksheets, no talking at you for sixty minutes, just genuine engagement with where you're at and where you need to be. I work with GCSE, A-Level, and IB students (HL and SL) in English Language, English Literature, and Economics, and my approach is simple: I don't just teach you the content, I teach you how to think about it. We'll pull apart mark schemes, dissect model answers, build your analytical voice from the ground up, and by the time your exam comes around, you won't just be prepared — you'll actually understand what you're doing and why.
