About Megan
Before getting my PhD in Biotechnology I was a middle school science teacher. I have mentored and tutored middle, high school, undergraduate and graduate students over the course of 8 years. I'm currently a postdoctoral associate at Duke University. I would love the opportunity to continue teaching in my spare time through tutoring.

I find it helpful to take an approach to teaching that accommodates each individuals preferred learning needs. For example, I am a kinesthetic learner (I learn by doing). However, I know this isn't share by everyone. Being able to accommodate each learners learning style is important to efficient and adequate learning/understanding.
