My teaching style is centered on providing lesson support to help students succeed. The approach involves translating learning into multimodal segments, which include an introduction, formal information, practice, digital resources, and review.
The work that I do with students is experiential, tying conceptual learning to real-life experiences. With seven years of experience as a high school and middle school teacher, I am well-versed in California state science standards and approaches.
I have taught at all four high school levels (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors), middle school (seventh grade), and dual enrollment for high school juniors and seniors as a Fresno City College adjunct.
I hold a Bachelor’s of Science and graduate education from San Francisco State University (SFSU), a single subject teaching credential (science) from Fresno State University (FSU), and a specialized teaching credential from Fresno Pacific University (FPU) in Health and Human Services. This diverse and comprehensive educational background equips mer with the knowledge and skills to provide effective and tailored tutoring services.
