About Oliver
For 7 years I have been teaching drums and percussion for beginners and advanced, for children and adults, privately and at local music associations. The course content is adapted to the student's wishes and goals: from rudimentals on the snare drum, to grooves on the drum set, to kettledrums and mallets, such as xylophone and marimba. I myself had lessons with various teachers for over 13 years and I continue my education regularly with workshops, master classes and courses. I am currently studying musicology at the University of Tübingen.

The contents of the lessons are tailored to the wishes and goals, as well as the level of knowledge and the age of the student. It is advisable to start with simple rhythms on the snare drum and then transfer these to the drum set. After a short time, grooves and fill-ins can be played. Once these have been internalized, they can be transferred to the kettledrum and the bar playing. In class, it is important to have a balance between technical exercises and playing songs so that both the technical implementation and the interaction are practiced.
