About India
I'm a young woman with a deep love for all things cerebral and emotional alike. Puzzles, riddles, and reading as well as experiemental art, music, and nature. I'm extroverted to a fault and will often spend my time with friends explaining why a character from my favourite TV shows are so well written or exposit the entire history of the Greek gods. As much as I value productivity and making the most out of your time (and money), I'm no stickler for casual conversation. In fact, I find that learning from someone who you're comfortable being around makes all the difference, just think of the classes you've had where you really liked the teacher vs when you didn't.

My specialties lie in narrative, thematic and character analysis, implementing historical context, grammar and sentence structure, essay development and structure, creative and freeform writing, in-depth analysis of Shakespearean works, and practices/habits to stay on top of and fully understand academic readings.
In my lessons, I will approach you where you are rather than make you come to me. If you are the type of student that thrives with a set lesson plan, I'll create one tailored to your needs. If you have specific problems or areas in your classes that you struggle with, you can come to me with questions and we can work together to come to an understanding. I employ cross-media examples to help explain abstract or complex concepts - in my opinion, the key to understanding unfamiliar ground is touching on what you already know (the amount of times I've used TV show and movie references in my lecture notes is unreal).
