I am a student, currently completing my final year in BSc Microbiology and Chemistry. From Mafikeng, in the North West Province. Tutored Grade 12 Life Sciences in first year. Was a top learner in my matric year for English (FAL) in the district and sub-district.

My teaching method is firstly introducing the topic to the student by asking their understanding of it. Then I set out the lesson outcomes while simultaneously introducing the various sub topics. I then select topics according to how they flow into each other for better understanding. Visual stimulation techniques are very necessary in lessons, eg. Colourful diagrams, flow-charts etc. Using Mnemonic techniques has also been found to help with understanding and long term memory. In between lessons, mini tests or exercises to help cement what was learnt.
