About Ben
I am currently reading for an accelerated undergraduate degree in law at the University of Cambridge. I ranked second out of 216 students (top 1%) in my Part 1B examinations, winning the Deka Chambers Prize for showing the best overall performance in Law of Tort. In the process of applying to Cambridge, I scored 36/42 in the Section A of the LNAT. Previously, I took a double first in BA history at the University of Oxford.
I am currently giving tuition to an Oxford law applicant.

I take a focused, methodological, and diagnostic approach to LNAT tutoring. I teach students to use a process of elimination appropriate to the multiple-choice format, allowing them to answer easy questions rapidly and improving their success rates even when attempting the most challenging questions under extreme time pressure. I work through difficult questions with students, identifying categories of question that pose problems for particular students, and helping them devise strategies to address their weaknesses.
When assisting students with their personal statements, I emphasise the importance of showing a genuine enthusiasm for the law, and producing a fluent, argumentative writing sample.
Since I have been admitted to undergraduate degrees at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities, I have a very strong understanding of the interview process. I can assist interview candidates by offering rigorous and realistic mock interviews.
