About Jodie
"Spending 13 years coaching vocalists has taught me that the best sound comes when you stop overthinking. I remember a student who finally hit a high note after we spent 10 minutes just focusing on their jaw tension and head voice. My work covers vibrato control, belting technique, tone and resonance, and sight singing.
I also assist with vocal range extension, stage fear management, exam preparation, rhythm and phrasing, and head and chest voice. Even with 13 years of practice, I still get a kick out of seeing someone find their unique sound. It is a long road, but it beats being bored in a practice room."

"Singing well is often about doing less rather than trying to force more sound out. My BM Songwriting degree gives me the tools to break down complex theory into stuff you can actually use.
You will learn to navigate the NZ NCEA curriculum levels 1 through 3 and University Entrance requirements with ease.
