About Tisha
I am a dedicated and highly experienced educator with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and more than 30 years of experience in education. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, school principal, district curriculum leader, and English language learning specialist.
I hold advanced degrees in education and certifications in elementary education, educational leadership (K-12), and English as a Second Language (K-12). My extensive background includes literacy instruction, curriculum development, special education, differentiated instruction, and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Having worked with students across a wide range of abilities including those with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and language barriers, I understand the importance of meeting each learner where they are academically and emotionally.
As both a teacher and school administrator, I have worked closely with families to identify learning challenges, develop effective instructional strategies, and celebrate student growth. My goal is to build confidence, foster a love of learning, and help students reach their fullest academic potential.
I offer personalized tutoring both in person in the Jupiter, FL area and virtually, providing families with flexible, high quality educational support.

My approach to tutoring is personalized, engaging, and grounded in research-based instructional practices. With extensive experience as a classroom teacher, literacy specialist, school administrator and curriculum leader, I understand every student learns differently.
I specialize in reading, writing, literacy intervention, and English language development. My lessons include the Science of Reading, structured literacy techniques, explicit instruction, and engaging activities designed to build both academic skills and confidence.
I have extensive experience supporting students with learning differences, including students with disabilities, autism, ADHD, and multilingual learners. I create a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating their progress.
