About Anna Lucia
After obtaining a BA and MA (110 cum laude) in Classics from the Catholic University of Milan, I moved to London for my PhD in Classics at King’s College. I have experience in producing and presenting high-quality research, teaching in HE, tutoring and organizing conferences, seminars and events.
I developed excellent communications skills both oral and written, gained teaching in HE (Ancient Greek Literature, Latin Literature and Ancient History) and presenting at numerous international conferences.

I am a dedicated and experienced tutor in Ancient Greek and Latin language, literature and history. Within the last year, I have completed a course in educational psychology, pedagogy (including SEN) and educational research, enhancing my knowledge of various aspects of education including teaching methods and classroom dynamics. My teaching methods include: close reading and analysis of relevant primary sources; discussion of historical context and related scholarship; focus groups under my supervision in the case of large groups of students; use of different media (video clips, web sites and active learning...).
