About Decker
I’ve always been drawn to challenges that require deep understanding rather than surface-level memorization. In chiropractic, the goal is to examine, assess, and address the body as an integrated system. My additional training in functional neurology and functional medicine has expanded that perspective, requiring me to understand how multiple systems interact, not just muscles and bones.
By studying blood chemistry, neurophysiology, and structural anatomy together, I’ve developed the ability to see the body as a connected whole rather than isolated parts. That same systems-based approach shapes how I teach. Subjects in this field can feel overwhelming at first, but when broken into patterns and relationships, they become logical and manageable. Consistent repetition combined with real-world application is what turns complex material into lasting understanding.

My teaching approach is concept-first and clinically oriented. I focus on helping students understand why something works, not just memorizing facts. I break complex material into clear systems, patterns, and cause-and-effect relationships so students can apply knowledge instead of cramming it. My background in healthcare allows me to explain anatomy & physiology, neurology, and biochemistry in a way that actually makes sense functionally, not just theoretically.
