About George
I am a practicing clinician and researcher with international training experience, and I teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand medicine in a way that feels logical, relevant, and achievable. Throughout my own training, I learned that the best teachers are those who can bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real clinical practice, and that is the approach I aim to offer. I am particularly motivated to teach because of my passion for anatomy, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based medicine, and because I value the impact that good teaching can have on a student’s confidence and career trajectory. Teaching also sharpens my own practice, pushing me to stay current, precise, and reflective. Above all, I want students to leave sessions not only knowing more, but thinking more clearly, asking better questions, and feeling supported in their development as future clinicians.

I combine real-world clinical experience, strong anatomical expertise, and active academic research into a clear, practical teaching approach. As a clinician working across multiple international neurosurgical centres, I focus on clinical reasoning, decision-making, and exam-relevant anatomy, rather than rote learning. My background in clinical anatomy (BSc) and neuroscience allows me to explain complex structures intuitively, with direct links to imaging, surgery, and common pitfalls in exams and on the wards. At the same time, as an active researcher and published author, I teach students how to think critically, interpret evidence, and approach questions the way clinicians and examiners do. My sessions are structured, supportive, and tailored to the learner’s level, with the goal of building confidence, deep understanding, and long-term retention—not just short-term exam success.
