About Niraj
My name is Niraj and I am an international student from Nepal, currently studying Computing at De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester. I have always had a strong passion for Mathematics and Statistics, and I genuinely enjoy helping others understand and succeed in these subjects.
During my time in Nepal, I gained experience working and supporting others in an academic environment, which helped me develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. I understand how challenging Maths can feel for many students, and I believe that with the right guidance and patience, every student can improve and build confidence.
I am a calm, friendly and dedicated tutor who adapts my teaching style to suit each individual student. I speak English, Nepali and Hindi, which means I can support a diverse range of students. I am punctual, reliable and fully committed to helping my students achieve their academic goals.
My goal is simple — to make Maths and Statistics less scary and more enjoyable for every student I work with.

I am Niraj, a Computing student at De Montfort University (DMU) in Leicester. I offer friendly and patient Maths and Statistics tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, ensuring they fully understand every topic before moving forward.
I use a step-by-step approach to break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. Each lesson is typically 1 hour long, but I can be flexible depending on the student's requirements. I focus on building strong foundations, practising past papers, and boosting exam confidence.
Having studied advanced Mathematics and Statistics as part of my Computing degree, I have a strong academic background in these subjects. I am experienced in helping students who find Maths challenging and making it enjoyable and approachable.
My lessons are suitable for school students aged 11 to 18, whether they need help catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead. I am available for both in-person lessons in Leicester and online sessions via video call.
