About Ethan
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 16+ years of teaching experience, having taught around 300 students from beginner to intermediate levels, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, patience, and consistency, as I believe these are essential for successful learning.
I focus on building strong basics such as posture, finger placement, bow control, and sound clarity. I make sure to explain each concept in a simple and understandable way so students can apply it confidently. I also include exercises and songs that keep lessons interesting and engaging.
One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence and perform without hesitation. My goal is to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment.

I also include music theory, rhythm exercises, and listening practice to help students understand music deeply, not just play notes. Along with violin, I guide students in related areas such as basic composition and ear training. This helps them become confident and independent musicians.
I focus on building strong fundamentals while keeping lessons engaging and supportive, so students enjoy learning and improve steadily.
