About Carly
Over the past 4 years, I have taught honors level and remedial level 6th and 7th grade Math classes in Dallas ISD and Whitehouse ISD. I spend my free time creating curriculum for middle school classes that promote higher order thinking and mastery of the TEKS (Texas Standards).

I believe in building upon a student's prior knowledge to make Math concepts understandable. I believe in students learning through making mistakes. I taught my students to see FAIL as "First Attempt in Learning". I believe in training students to find reasonableness in an answer, not just to follow processes.
