About Sienna
I am a dedicated and experienced French tutor with 17 years of teaching experience, working with High School and College students, and I have successfully guided around 150 to 200 students in building strong language skills and confidence. My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and consistent improvement.
I believe that when students clearly understand the fundamentals, they gain the confidence to progress naturally. I take a step-by-step approach to teaching, ensuring that each concept is well understood before moving forward. I focus on simplifying grammar, strengthening vocabulary, and improving communication through regular speaking practice.
I also use real-life examples and interactive discussions to make lessons more engaging and practical. In addition, I support students with exam preparation and academic improvement. One of my key achievements is helping students who once struggled with French become confident learners who perform well and communicate effectively. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow.

My teaching style for French emphasises both strong foundations and practical language use. I use real-life examples, case studies, and conversational exercises to make lessons engaging, relatable, and easy to understand. I maintain flexibility, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, level, and personal learning goals.
Collaboration is a key part of my methodology, and I encourage students to participate in discussions, role-plays, and exercises that build fluency, comprehension, and confidence. I also create a compassionate and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to experiment with the language and learn from mistakes.
In addition to French, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural awareness to provide a complete and enriching learning experience.
