I can't recommend and thank Charlie enough. She has tutored both of my children through their GCSEs. English language and literature did not come naturally to either of them and the thought of sitting these exams caused much stress until we met Charlie. My daughter came away with a 7 in both language and literature (from a 5, 5 in her mocks) and my son a 6 in both (from a 3, 4 in his mocks). Charlie is a committed and flexible tutor who adapts to the needs of her pupils. She was always on hand to answer any questions they had or to just provide much needed support. Charlie is friendly and approachable. An absolutely excellent tutor whose results speak for themselves.

I tutored alongside Charlie whilst at school and have first hand experience seeing how patient, professional and successful she was at teaching reading to students with reading and learning difficulties. I have no doubt that she’d be an incredible tutor, taking on your concerns and working alongside tutees to reach their academic goals.

Charlie helped my son to gain confidence with his reading abilities a few years ago. Having only just got to grips with the alphabet I could see a fantastic improvement with his understanding of words through the Biff, Chip and Kipper books.
It was wonderful having her patient and friendly help and I hope she goes on to tutor many little ones to learn to read.
