About Bourema

Hello! I'm Bourema, a native Bambara speaker from Babougou, a village in Mali, currently based in Budapest, Hungary.

Growing up in rural Mali gave me a deep appreciation for our language, culture, and traditions. My studies at the École Normale Supérieure of Bamako further strengthened my passion for sharing this heritage with others.

I've had the pleasure of teaching Bambara to people from different countries, backgrounds, and age groups. What I enjoy most is helping learners connect with the language, gain confidence, and discover the richness of Malian culture.

I look forward to sharing this learning experience with you!
Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to improve your Bambara, my goal is to help you communicate naturally and confidently while discovering the richness of Malian culture.

Whether you're learning Bambara for travel, work, family connections, or personal interest, my lessons are designed around your goals and learning pace.

Here's what we can work on together:
1. Speaking with confidence: Build your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and practice everyday conversations in a friendly, relaxed environment.

2. Reading and writing: Learn the Bambara alphabet, understand its sounds, and gradually develop your reading and writing skills.
3. Listening comprehension: Improve your ability to understand native speakers through practical exercises and learning materials I've developed myself.

4. Language and culture: Discover authentic expressions, proverbs, and cultural meanings through my firsthand experience growing up in rural Mali.
Having learned French, English, and Russian myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. That's why I adapt my lessons to each student's needs, making learning both practical and enjoyable.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve, I'd be happy to help you on your Bambara learning journey!
