About Ben
With a First Class Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath, coupled with extensive prior tutoring experience on other platforms, I’ve helped students achieve outstanding academic results. As part of my university degree I completed a placement year working in accounting and audit, which I then converted to a part-time role as a Corporate Finance Analyst alongside my final year of university. Since graduating, I travelled for 3 months around South East Asia, completed my CFA level 1 exam, scoring in the 90th percentile and started a full-time job. I’m now working as a Corporate Finance Executive, where I’m completing my chartered accountancy qualification alongside my day-to-day responsibilities. My A-levels, were Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, where I achieved an A* and 2 A’s. I completed 11 IGCSE’s achieving 9 A*s and 2 As. The 9 A*s include further maths, and standard maths, where I achieved the highest grade in my academic year. With a genuine enthusiasm for education, I have dedicated my free time to tutoring individuals, empowering them to achieve top grades. Seeing my students succeed and grow academically brings me immense joy and satisfaction. Beyond academics, I have also competed internationally in the Windsurf World Cup. This experience has taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and problem-solving skills - qualities that I believe are key to success not only in sports but also in academics.
