About Amanda
In my current position, I foster a positive learning environment for both teachers and students. I am able to provide a variety of instruction techniques to officially teach all students. I am adept in classroom instruction; development of instruction plans and parent-teacher relations. I have experience with IEP’s, proficient in Common Core standards and the skill to motivate students for success. I also am familiar with technology such as Smart Boards and able to incorporate new technology quickly. I have a solid education foundation and passion for teaching.

I have been trained by NYU for the ASD classroom setting, which integrates the autistic population into the general education classroom setting. Having worked in this setting I find myself focusing on different techniques that engage students. I have tremendous love for children and a high standard on learning. I possess a calm attitude and superb understanding of children’s needs.
