About Klara
I am an IB graduate currently studying Experimental Psychology at University College London (UCL). During my IB Diploma, I studied Psychology HL, Swedish HL, English A Literature HL, History SL, Biology SL, Mathematics SL and TOK. I was awarded 43 points for my hard efforts, and believe I am well-equipped with tools and techniques to help other students excel in their IB Diploma. I am based in London but am happy to do both online and face-to-face lessons. I am originally from Sweden but have lived in both Paris and London, as well as travelled in South America and Asia after my IB graduation. I believe my tutoring would be valuable in encouraging the success of both first-year and second-year students. My teaching method is based around teaching the student how to learn rather than just teaching the material itself. I believe that patience, honesty and flexibility is vital as a tutor. It is essential for me to adapt to each student and their individual needs. I, therefore, focus a lot on preparation; I always try to have a plan for the lesson and an awareness of any challenges the student might be facing at the moment. By being open with my own experiences, I aim to create a positive environment where the student feels at ease.
