About Sharyn
I am a mom of two adults and love working with students. Due to changes in my life, I have decided to leave my job, which was as a disability support worker, and go back to tutoring. I am enthusiastic, easygoing, and love listening.

I believe in an individual approach to tutoring. Finding out what a child considers interesting and fun is the first step to getting them involved in learning. I don't care if they read comics, magazines, novels, or brochures. Reading is reading. A positive, goal-centered approach works best, and it is such a joy to see readers improve and enjoy what they're reading.
