About Lara
"Because I still love the moment an idea becomes a finished song, I decided to share that feeling through teaching. I see the guitar as a tool for expression whether we are looking at reading sheet music or refining lead guitar technique.
Students working with me often focus on electric technique or acoustic nuance to round out their skills. My Diploma in Audio Production from MAINZ helps me explain the physics behind tuning and maintenance while we practice.
I have guided 312 students through ear training and grade exam prep by focusing on fingerpicking and reading tabs. Teaching is about the process of watching a student grow their confidence across the fretboard.
I enjoy the challenge of helping others find their unique sound through songwriting or technical drills. My approach remains collaborative and motivating at every turn. I am ready to help you play better today."

"Does your soloing feel stuck because you lack a rhythm section to play along with at home? I fix this by creating custom backing tracks for students to practice soloing on their own time. It is a simple way to bridge the gap between technical practice and actual musical performance. My Diploma in Audio Production from MAINZ ensures the audio quality of these tracks is top tier.
We will use these tracks to apply your fingerpicking or lead guitar skills in a real world context. I keep our sessions grounded in the reality of being a musician.
Sometimes we pause to adjust your acoustic technique or look at how a specific chord sits in a mix. You will find that I am very honest about what needs work and what is already shining. Expect a relaxed environment where we keep things simple."
